A set refers to a collection of different things (mathematical objects). These things are members or elements of the set.
They are often mathematical objects, such as numbers, symbols, points in space, lines, other geometric shapes, variables, or other sets.

A set may be finite or infinite. The empty set is a unique set that has no elements.
A set that has a single element is referred to as a singleton.

Set Theory in Yoruba is Àlàye Ìjìnlẹ̀, as set means Ọ̀wọ́ in the language.
Set theory notation uses symbols like curly brackets { } for sets, and symbols like ∈ (is an element of) and ∉ (is not an element of) to denote membership. Other fundamental notations include ⊆ (subset), ⊂ (proper subset), ∪ (union), ∩ (intersection), and A' or A^c (complement).

Set Theory in IfaLang: IFASet

IFASet refers to Ogbe (Energy) and its Dual, Oyeku (Anergy) — the most fundamental building block of Existence as a whole, including all kinds of sets and set theory.


Ifa Set Theory entails doing the subject of set theory in terms of the Energy called Ogbe, i.e., in IfaLang, the Language of Energy (LoE). IfaSets and their duals are the 14 remaining Oju Odu (Principal IfaCodes); while ifasets and their duals are the amulu/composite IfaCodes of the 16 Major Odu, which are the Ifa Laws of Nature governing nature and all fields.
Ifa Set Theory is based on Ifa Simulation Theory, which says that everything has its own Odu that birthed it, i.e., everything is a form, simulation, or function of Energy: Everything is a manifestation of Olodumare (Energy in the scientific context).


IfaSets are the Sets of Everything (SetoE), meta-mathematical structures which have diverse use cases on the IFA Internet, including modelling all fields of knowledge as knowledge sets. These Sets for Everything belong under the general Category of Apola Odu, which is IfaCategory.

The IfaSet Theory provides the underlying structure of Set Theory in Mathematics. Ifa Set Theory is also known as IfaSet Theory, ToE Set Theory, Energy Set Theory, or Set Theory of Everything (SeToE or Set ToE).
IfaSet, the Set of Everything (SetoE) or EnergySet, is a key meta-structure of IFA Mathematics (IFAMath) used to unify and integrate all fields, disciplines, technologies, and systems using a set-theoretic approach.
